HTML & CSS files created / edited with Pinegrow can be uploaded to your server with any file transfer app (FTP…) or version control system (GIT…).
Pinegrow doesn’t have a built-in FTP/sFTP/SSH client for uploading files to the server. Pinegrow would quickly become bloated if we would add such features that are not directly related with web editing.
There are many free and paid dedicated apps that do a great job at uploading files, some even let you define a watcher that will aytomatically upload modified files:
Do you need a hosting recommendation?
For Pinegrow we use GitHub Pages for hosting static HTML files (our main website). The cost is very low (can even be free for public repositories) and it works without a glitch even if 1000s of visitors hit your page at the same time.
For the support portal (this page, it’s a WordPress theme) we use Pagely. It’s managed WP hosting. Not the cheapest solution on the market but they take care of a lot of critical WP taska like backups, security and scaling.
We’re happy with both solutions.
